Translation for convenience. PesaFit is operated from Spain under EU/Spanish data-protection law. The Spanish version of this policy is the legally binding one; this English translation is provided to help English-speaking visitors understand the policy in good faith.

1. Data controller

PesaFit (hereafter, "the site") is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at jesus.narvaez.tames@hotmail.com.

2. Data we collect

Calculator inputs: the measurements you enter into our calculators (weight, height, age, etc.) are not sent to our servers. They are processed locally in your browser.
Optional profile: if you use the "Your profile" bar in the calculators, your basic data (sex, age, height, weight, activity level and estimated body-fat %) is stored only in your browser's localStorage to auto-fill calculators on future visits. It is not sent to any server or shared with third parties. You can erase it at any time with the "Delete my data" button or by clearing site storage from your browser.
Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 with anonymised IP to understand site usage. It does not identify individual users.
Advertising: we display Google AdSense ads which may use cookies to personalise advertising. You can manage your preferences at adssettings.google.com.
Affiliates: we participate in the Amazon affiliate program. When you click an Amazon link, Amazon may install cookies in your browser.
Newsletter: the newsletter is currently Spanish-only. If you subscribe, we store your email address, the subscription date and the source page that brought you to the form, with the sole purpose of sending you the editorial emails. We use EmailOctopus (Octopus Marketing Limited, United Kingdom) as our data processor. EmailOctopus also handles the double opt-in (sends you a confirmation email) and unsubscribes. You can unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of every email. Data is kept until you unsubscribe or until we bounce your address 3 consecutive times (automatic list hygiene).

3. Legal basis

We process data based on your explicit consent (analytics cookies, advertising cookies and newsletter signup) and on the legitimate interest of keeping the site operational.

4. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by emailing jesus.narvaez.tames@hotmail.com. You may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or, if you reside in the EU/EEA, with your local data-protection authority.
